identity crisis
ROBERT Overlord / ANDY Droid gives me the feeling of identity crisis . It’s not the first time I have this feeling of identity crisis , and a small voice inside of me tells me not to feel this way . In the card I see Robot and two kids . Who is the Garbage Pail Kids in the Photo ? - identity crisis . The Robot is responsible for the mess , also the names refer to the robot . The kids are pretty normal .
I’m on a quest to find similar cases in my book of Garbage Pail Kids . JOAN Clone / Wardy WARD is a good example , because there are many clones who grow on this Kid body . I think the names fit both , in this case , and really happy about it because the clones are really cute . MIRIAM Migraine / Head BUSTER is the same case , one kid with two violent growths on his head . I think I will look at it as a whole . When I come across cards like BUBBLE Blair / Snot DOT (Oh The Horror-ible) , I feel much much better . A Blair Witch Project girl with a humanized nasal Mucus , my vote goes to the mucus .
Many LENNY / Lotta CARLOTTA got many heads , every head different character . Who will bear (?) the name ? . . .
VIV E.Section / Disect ED the kid is operated by a frog . The frog is a bit breathtaking , so try to stay focused on the Kid . You see a normal kid rock climbing the big Lincoln face on Mount Rushmore . Lincoln is full of Snot , and the kid gets dirty . Maybe the names Messy JESSE / Rocky RICARDO (ANS) are more suitable to the statue . There are many Garbage Pail Kids that became freakish by other factors , but their damage was inflicted for long time or forever .
Now I start to feel narrow minded , should I think outside the box ? I remember when it used to be just cute sickening kid on single card . Maybe they try to change things somewhere in the Garbage Pail Kids World , call me old fashioned . I still see myself part of a Generation of reformers .
The Wicker man is one of my favourite movies , it deals with Paganism . When I look at a GPK card called The Wicker STAN / Sacrificed STEVIE (Oh The Horror-ible) it takes me 3,4,5 seconds to understand who is the true Garbage Pail Kids . Is it the Pagan Statue or the man inside ?
In conclusion , I think that in some cases the Factor is the Garbage Pail Kids , not the kid himself / herself . Let’s look at the card & the names from any angle before we make a decision .
Last examples that ROBERT Overlord / ANDY Droid doesn't stand alone : Shelled MICHELLE / Lobster SHELBY (ANS) is a picture of a girl with a giant lobster . . in a funny situation . I believe the Lobster is the Garbage Pail Kids . In the card named Touch TONI / Phoney JONI the phone is the true Garbage Pail Kids . There is a girl in the card , just a simple girl . She interacts with the phone , but the phone is the weird and aggressive figure .
